The Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge is scheduled to be closed to all vehicular traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday, Nov. 17, to Friday, Nov. 21.
Motorists are urged to use the Upper Black Eddy-Milford Toll-Supported Bridge 3.3 miles upstream as an alternate river-crossing route when closures are in effect at Uhlerstown-Frenchtown.
The daytime bridge closures will enable a Commission contractor to speed completion of remaining bridge rehabilitation project tasks before the start of the winter holidays in December.
Motorists are urged to plan ahead and allow more time to reach their destinations during the wekday bridge closure periods.
The scheduled traffic detours are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors. (Note: The bridge’s walkway will remain open during the daytime weekday traffic closure periods.)
