Flagging operations scheduled for the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge on Wednesday and Thursday, May 6-7, have been cancelled due to anticipated inclement weather.
However, the bridge will still be restricted to a single lane with flagger-controlled alternating traffic in each direction 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 8.
The travel restriction will enable the Commission’s general engineering consultant firm to conduct federally required inspections of the bridge.
Brief stoppages and travel delays are possible.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds, exercise caution, and follow flagger instructions.
The scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
