PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – Due to the upcoming July 4th holiday, all travel restrictions related to the I-78 Bridges and Approach Slabs Rehabilitation Project will be suspended next week, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.
Remaining lane and shoulder closures scheduled for the remainder of the current week will be removed along the Commission’s portion of I-78 by tomorrow morning (Saturday, June 30) and at the NJ Exit 3 access ramp to I-78 eastbound and County Route 519 in Pohatcong by Sunday evening, July 1.
Project-related travel restrictions are expected to resume along the Commission’s portion of I-78 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania during the week of July 8.
