EWING, NJ – The NJ Route 175 entry ramp to I-295 South is expected to remain closed into late December and daytime closures along the NJ Route 29 southbound bypass lane beneath the Scudder Falls Bridge are scheduled to continue another week, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.

The I-295 South access ramp from Route 175/Upper River Road in Ewing, N.J. must remain closed until guiderail can be installed in the vicinity of areas where there are buried utility lines.  The closure is now expected to continue past Christmas.

Meanwhile, weekday closures of the Route 29 southbound bypass lane beneath the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge are needed to allow for installation of guiderails and weed-blocking asphalt and placement of loose rock and topsoil along the roadway.
