Weekends

Aside from the closure of the Route 29 SB bypass lane beneath the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge, no project-related lane closures are scheduled for Nov. 21-22.  For the Thanksgiving holiday travel period, a moratorium on temporary project-related travel restrictions is scheduled to begin 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov 25 and end noon Monday, Nov. 30.

Delaware Canal Towpath (PA side) – Sporadic daytime closure/stoppages possible 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays for project-related construction activities in the vicinity of the I-295 approach bridge crossing the canal through November; open on weekends.

Delaware & Raritan Canal Towpath (NJ side) – Daily closure/stoppages possible 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays now through November.  These restrictions – when implemented – will allow for construction of a connecting path and access ramp to the shared-use bike-ped facility that is expected to open on the new Scudder Falls Toll Bridge in fall 2021.  Canal path open on weekends.
