NOISE WARNING – Paving of the new I-295 EB travel lanes on the Pennsylvania side of the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge is underway and is expected to continue through August.  Noise associated with this work includes back-up beepers on delivery trucks, compaction equipment and vibrating roller vehicles.  Cofferdam and temporary in-river work platform construction in the vicinity of Park Island requires vibratory hammering and pile driving; this noise is necessary to maintain the project schedule while complying with environmental-impact restrictions.
