CALHOUN STREET BRIDGE -- The Calhoun Street Bridge's walkway is scheduled to undergo replacement starting Monday, Sept. 14. Intermittent walkway closures will be implemented 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays to carry out the work. Pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to use the Lower Trenton “Trenton Makes” Bridge's walkway as a travel alternative. Motorists using the Calhoun Street Bridge also may encounter occasional alternating single-lane travel restrictions.
