Route 1 south at the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge is scheduled to be restricted to two travel lanes (one of three southbound bridge lanes closed) 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, and Tuesday, Feb. 25. Two toll-collection lanes (three of five toll-collection lanes open) also are expected to be closed.
PA-bound motorists traveling from Trenton, New Jersey to Morrisville, Pennsylvania could encounted travel delays during morning commuting hours Monday and Tuesday.
The scheduled travel restrictions will enable a Commission contractor to remove outdated pavement markings approaching the bridge’s toll plaza. All tolls are now collected electronically through E-ZPass and TOLL BY PLATE billing through the mail.
Affected motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution whenever traveling through active work zones.
The scheduled lane closures are subject to change due to weather, emergencies and other factors.
