A series of off-peak daytime travel restrictions are scheduled for Friday, June 6, in the vicinity of the Lower Trenton (“Trenton Makes”) Toll-Supported Bridge and the Trenton-Morrisville (Route 1) Toll Bridge.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Pennsylvania-bound traffic shift on Bridge Street approaching the Lower Trenton Bridge below the overhead ramp structure that carries traffic from Route 29 onto Route 1 and the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Lane closure on NJ Route 29 northbound (one of two travel lanes open) below the northbound and southbound Route 1 approach bridges to the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge — 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The travel restrictions will allow a Commission engineering consultant to carry out various masonry inspections.

Travel delays are not anticipated.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through active inspection areas.

The scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
