I-78 Toll Bridge -- One of the I-78 Toll Bridge's three eastbound lanes is scheduled to be closed 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8. The travel restriction will allow engineers to conduct biennial inspections of the bridge structure. Eastbound I-78 motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution approaching the bridge during off-peak daytime hours Thursday. Two eastbound lanes will remain open. Westbound travel will be unaffected.
