Lane closures are scheduled to be in effect at the Trenton-Morrisville (Route 1) Toll Bridge on Wednesday, May 20, and Thursday, May 21.
The travel restrictions are as follows:
- Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Right lane closure in the Pennsylvania-bound (Route 1 southbound) direction (two of three lanes open).
- Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Right lane and auxilary lane closure in the New Jersey-bound (Route 1 northbound) direction (one of three lanes open0.
The lane closures will enable consulting engineers to conduct inspections and take measurements as part of a design contract for an open-road cashless all-electronic tolling facility expected to be consturcted during 2027.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when travel restrictions are in effect.
The scheduled lane closures are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
