Motorists could encounterd off-peak daytime lane closures on the New Jersey side of the Easton-Phillipsburg (Route 22) Toll Bridge on Monday, Apr. 6, and Tuesday, Apr. 7.
The travel restrictions are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Route 22 westbound left lane closed (two of three travel lanes open) approaching the toll plaza (cash no longer accepted).
- Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Route 22 eastbound left lane closed (one of two travel lanes open) after crossing the bridge from Pennsylvania into New Jersey.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution while travel restrictions are in effect.
Travel delays are not anticipated.
The scheduled lane closures are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
