EASTON, PA – Additional finishing work for the I-78 Bridges and Approach Slabs Rehabilitation Project will require the following travel restrictions for the week of November 11:
I-78 Eastbound – From Main River Bridge to Exit 3 in Pohatcong, N.J. (Phillipsburg/Routes 22 & 173 Interchange)
- Two-lane travel pattern (one of three lanes closed) OVERNIGHT 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (next day) Monday, Nov. 12.
I-78 Westbound – From Exit 3 in Pohatcong, N.J. (Phillipsburg/Routes 22 & 173 Interchange) to Main River Bridge
- Two-lane travel pattern (one of three lanes closed) 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.
Morgan Hill Road Bridge – Overpass across I-78 in Williams Township, PA.
- Intermittent single-lane closures with travel maintained in each direction at all times 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 13.
The scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergency, traffic, and project mobilization considerations. Motorists are urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations, to reduce speeds, and to exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.
