The following width restrictions are in effect along both directions of U.S. Route 202 in the vicinity of the New Hope-Lambertville Toll Bridge between Solebury Twp., PA. and Delaware Twp. N.J.:
- Pennsylvania-bound (southbound) — 10-foot vehicle width limit.
- New Jersey-bound (northbound) — 11-foot vehicle width limit.
The width restrictions are expected to remain in place through 2026 and into the first quarter of 2027. They are allowing a Commission contractor to reconstruct the downstream backwall portion of the bridge’s Pennsylvania abutment and realign and landscape the former northbound approach roadway on the bridge’s Pennsylvania side.
Route 202 motorists approaching the bridge are urged to reduce speeds, exercise caution, and abide by posted temporary width and speed restrictions.
