EASTON, PA – Daytime and overnight travel restrictions will continue for the I-78 Bridges and Approach Slabs Rehabilitation Project along the highway near the Pennsylvania-New Jersey border.
The full schedule of project-related lane closures is as follows:
I-78 Westbound – Approaching the I-78 Toll Bridge in Phillipsburg, N.J.
- Single-lane travel pattern (two of three lanes closed) 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. (next day) Sunday, Sept. 9, and Monday, Sept. 10.
- Two-lane travel pattern (one of three lanes closed) 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. (next day) Thursday, Sept. 13
- E-ZPass Express Left lanes closed OVERNIGHT 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. (next day) Thursday, Sept. 13
I-78 Eastbound – Approaching the I-78 Toll Bridge in Williams Township, PA.
- Two-lane travel pattern (one of three lanes closed) 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (next day) Thursday, Sept. 13.
Cedarville Road – Overpass across I-78 in Williams Township, PA.
- Alternating single-lane travel with traffic controlled by flaggers 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 to Friday, Sept. 14.
Morgan Hill Road Bridge – Overpass across I-78 in Williams Township, PA.
- Intermittent single-lane closures with travel maintained in each direction at all times 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 to Friday, Sept. 14.
The scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergency, traffic, and project mobilization considerations. Motorists are urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations, to reduce speeds, and to exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.
