The bridge's New Jersey-bound direction is scheduled to be reduced to a single lane on those dates for paving and milling work between drainage inlets.
PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – All travel lanes are expected to be open next week along the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission’s 6.5-mile I-78 segment in western New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
The roadway segment is currently undergoing a series of repairs and improvements under a 15-month-long project aimed at rehabilitating various overpasses and bridges as well as the approach slabs immediately before and after those structures.
The next project-related travel update is anticipated to be issued on or before Sept. 22.
