LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA – The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that the work associated with the installation of noise-abatement walls at warranted locations along the Pennsylvania I-95 approach to the Scudder Falls Bridge will continue into various Saturdays for the remainder of this month and in May.
However, the contractor constructing the various noise wall segments along the highway in Lower Makefield, PA is restricted from doing any work on Sundays.
Work on the advance Pennsylvania noise wall contract began in early July 2016. Under the contract, a total of six sections of noise walls with an approximate length of 12,500 feet are to be installed along Pennsylvania’s I-95 approach to the Scudder Falls Bridge. The work remains on track to be completed in early June.
