LOWER MAKEFILED, PA – The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that it has scheduled an April 27 meeting to announce the results of a recent noise data collection effort along I-95 in Lower Makefield Township, PA.

The new noise readings will supplement earlier data collected during the environmental documentation process for the upcoming Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project. A key objective of this supplemental research was to determine if more Noise Sensitive Areas (NSAs) along Pennsylvania’s I-95 approach to the Scudder Falls Bridge might meet the eligibility thresholds for installations of noise-abatement walls.

The meeting is scheduled to begin 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the William Penn Middle School, 1524 Derbyshire Road, Yardley, PA.

The meeting’s primary audience will be residents in neighborhoods along I-95 that were previously determined to be ineligible for noise abatement walls as part of the Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project.  The Commission has mailed invitation letters to the affected residents in the neighborhoods where additional noise testing was conducted.
