I-78 eastbound is scheduled to be reduced to a single travel lane (two of three lanes closed) from NJ milepost 0.8 to NJ milepost 2.1 shortly after crossing the I-78 Toll Bridge from Pennsylvania into New Jersey from 8 p.m. Friday, June 28, to 6 a.m. Saturday, June 29.
The overnight travel restriction is needed for electrical contractor work along the highway segment.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through active work areas. Minor to moderate travel delays are possible at lane-merger points.
