Route 1 south is scheduled to be restricted to a single travel lane (one of two lanes closed) in the vicinity of the Centre Street overpass in Trenton, N.J. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The travel restriction is needed so Commission maintenance personnel can carry out work between mileposts 0.5 and 0.4 on the Route 1 southbound in Trenton.
The roadway segment is part of the Commission’s New Jersey approach to the Trenton-Morrisville (Route 1) Toll Bridge.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through active work areas.
The schedule travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
