The following overnight travel restrictions are scheduled for I-78 at the New Jersey-Pennsylvania border during the week of October 20:

  • 8 p.m. Monday, October 21, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, October 22 — one lane closed (two of three travel lanes open) on both I-78 eastbound and westbound in the vicinity of the I-78 Toll Bridge;
  • 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, October 23 — one lane closed (two of three travel lanes open) on I-78 westbound approaching the I-78 Toll Bridge from New Jersey;
  • 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, to 5 a.m. Thursday, October 24 — up to two lanes closed (one of three travel lanes open) on both I-78 eastbound and westbound in the vicinity of the I-78 Toll Bridge;
  • 8 p.m. Thursday, October 24, to 5 a.m. Friday, October 25 —  one lane closed (two of three travel lanes open) on both I-78 eastbound and westbound in the vicinity of the I-78 Toll Bridge;
  • 8 p.m. Friday, October 25, to 5 a.m. Saturday, October 26 — up to two lanes closed (one of three travel lanes open) on both I-78 eastbound and westbound in the vicinity of the I-78 Toll Bridge.

The travel restriction will enable a Commission contractor to perform various construction activities along the respective roadway segments.

Minor travel delays are anticipated, as traffic volumes are lowest during overnight hours.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through active work zones.

The scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, or other factors.
