The New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge (a.k.a. “the free bridge”) is scheduled to be reduced to a single alternating travel lane 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily from Monday, Dec. 1, to Friday, Dec. 5.
The travel restriction will enable a Commission contractor can install steel panels beneath the bridge’s roadway deck.
Periodic brief travel delays are possible.
Bridge motorists are urged to reduced speeds, follow flagger instructions, and exercise caution when work crews are present on the bridge’s roadway deck.
The travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
