The following lane closures are scheduled for the I-78 Toll Bridge and the Commission-controlled I-78 approaches in New Jersey and Pennsylvania during the week of October 27:

Monday, October 28

    • Single westbound travel lane closed (two of three WB lanes open)– portions of I-78 west from milepost 4.1 in NJ to milepost 76 in PA: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.; 9 p.m. to midnight.; and (next day) 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.
    • Single eastbound travel lane closed (two of three EB lanes open) — portions of I-78 east from milepost 75.6 in PA to milepost 4.1 in NJ — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and midnight to 5 a.m. (next day)

Tuesday, October 29

    • Single westbound travel lane closed (two of three WB lanes open)– portions of I-78 west from milepost 4.1 in NJ to milepost 76 in PA: 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Single westbound travel lane closed (two of three WB lanes open) — portions of I-78 west from milepost 0.4 (bridge) to milepost 75.8 in PA — 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. (next day)

Wednesday, October 30

    • Single westbound travel lane closed (two of three WB lanes open)– portions of I-78 west from milepost 0.4 (bridge) to milepost 75.8 in PA: 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.(next day)

 

Thursday, October 31

    • Single westbound travel lane closed (two of three WB lanes open)– portions of I-78 west from milepost 3.8 to milepost 0.4 in NJ and from  milepost 77.1 to milepost 76.7 PA: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday, November 1

    • Single westbound travel lane closed (two of three WB lanes open)– portions of I-78 west from milepost 3.8 to milepost 0.4 in NJ and from  milepost 77.1 to milepost 76.7 PA: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The lane closures will enable a Commission contractor to perform lane striping and pavement marker installing along portions of I-78.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when driving through active work zones.

The scheduled lane closures are subject to change due to weather, emergencies and other factors.
