The Express E-ZPass facility at the Delaware Water Gap (I-80) Toll Bridge is scheduled to be closed 6:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
The closure will involve a partial closure of the left westbound lane on the bridge. All motorists are urged to reduce speeds and use the adjoining toll plaza for payment of tolls.
Cash toll collections ended January 13 and tolls now are collected solely through E-ZPass and TOLL BY PLATE.
The scheduled travel restriction will allow work crews to install new E-ZPass tag reader equipment on the Express E-ZPass facility’s overhead gantry.
Backups and travel delays are possible in the westbound direction approaching the bridge from New Jersey Tuesday morning.
The scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
