A series of lane closures are scheduled to be implemented at or near the I-78 Toll Bridge Monday to Thursday, March 30-Apr. 2.
The schedule is as follows:
- Monday, March 30, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- I-78 Toll Bridge eastbound (NJ-bound) reduced to two lanes (one of three lanes closed);
- Tuesday, March 31, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- I-78 Toll Bridge eastbound (NJ-bound) reduced to two lanes (one of three lanes closed);
- Wednesday, Apr. 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- I-78 Toll Bridge westbound (PA-bound) reduced to two lanes (one of three lanes closed);
- Thursday, Apr. 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- I-78 Toll Bridge eastbound (NJ-bound) reduced to two lanes (one of three lanes closed).
The scheduled travel restriction will enable Commission engineering consultants to make inspectionsa and evaluations relative to the design of a future cleaning, painting and repair project at the I-78 Toll Bridge and select approach bridges.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when lane closures are in effect. Travel impacts -- if any -- should be minor.

Motorists could encounter flagger-controlled alternating single-lane travel at the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, March 30 to Apr. 3.
The travel restriction will enable a Commission contractor to remove protions of a temporary work platform that has been installed beneath the bridge's roadway deck for the past year.
Brief stoppages and travel delays are possible.

The start date for 96-hour-long weekday closures of the Scudder Falls (I-295) Toll Bridge’s 0.86-mile-long Shared-Use Path for pedestrians and bicyclists sicheduled be closed for 96-hour-long periods on a weekly basis until the Memorial Day Weekend.
Closures of the bridge's walkway will begin early on Mondays and continue until early Friday mornings. The walkway is expected to be reopened for use on weekends.
The weekly closures will enable a Commission contractor to remove and replace the uneven puddle-prone polyester polymer concrete (PPC) surface along the bridge’s elevated walkway surface.
The bridge walkway facility’s entry points will be blocked at the Delaware & Raritan Canal’s rail trail on the New Jersey side and the Delaware Canal towpath on the Pennsylvania side.
Affected bicyclists and pedestrians are urged to use the Calhoun Street Bridge walkway to the south or the Washington Crossing Bridge walkway whenever the Scudder Falls facility is closed. Bikes must be walked across the walkways at those two alternate crossings.

The New Hope-Lambertville (Route 202) Toll Bridge is restricted to single travel lanes in each directions with a 10-foot width restriction in the southbound (Pennsylvania-bound) direction and an 11-foot width restrictions in the northbound (New Jersey-bound) direction.
The travel restrictions will remain in effect until further notice.
A Commission contractor is in the process of removing the former cash-collection toll plaza at the bridge. The Contractor will then erect an open-road cashless all-electronic tolling gantry in approximately the same location. The project also will involve repairs and improvements to the bridge’s Pennsylvania abutment.
Route 202 motorists approaching the bridge are urged to reduce speeds, prepare for lane shifts, observe size restrictions, and exercise caution.
