A hydrological testing firm contracted by a Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) engineering consulting firm is scheduled to conduct soil tests (minimally invasive subsurface investigation) in the vicinity of the Washington Crossing State Park (New Jersey) during daytime hours on Thursday and Friday, January 22-23. The scope of work involves sampling of six temporary boreholes to satisfy NJ Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) requirements. The work is temporary; any ground disturbances will be addressed by the testing firm in accordance with the BMP Manual.
