A series of lane closures are scheduled for the I-78 Toll Bridge during daytime hours Wednesday and Thursday, July 16 and 17.
The travel restrictions are as follows:
- Wednesday, July 16, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — right eastbound lane closed (two of three eastbound lanes open)
- Thursday, July 17, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — right westbound lane closed (two of three westbound lanes open)
- Thursday, July 17, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — left eastbound lane closed (two of three eastbound lanes open)
The scheduled lane closures will enable the Commission’s general engineering consultant to inspect the bridge structure.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when lane closures are in effect.
The scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
