I-78 eastbound on the New Jersey side of the I-78 Toll Bridge is scheduled to be restricted to two open travel lanes (one of three lanes closed) during daytime hours on Monday, Nov. 4, Wednesday, Nov. 6, Thursday, Nov. 7, and Friday, Nov. 8.
The travel restriction will be in effect 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each of those days at various I-78 eastbound locations through Phillipsburg, Alpha, and/or Pohatcong.
The lane closures will enable a Commission contractor to perform security-camera-system work along the highway.
Some congestion is possible during morning commuting hours, but major travel delays are not anticipated.
Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through active work zones.
The travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergencies and other factors.
