The Washington Crossing Toll-Supported Bridge is scheduled to be closed for center-line painting work between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.
Motorists are advised to adjust their travel schedules or plan alternate routes during the hour-long closure period.
The narrow, two-lane, 115-year-old steel truss bridge connects Upper Makefield Township, PA, with Hopewell Township, PA. The bridge has a 15 MPH speed limit and a three-ton load restriction.
