EWING, NJ – The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced a revised set of overnight lane closures will be in effect this weekend along both directions of I-295 in the vicinity of the Scudder Falls Bridge.
The closures will allow for work at the I-295 approach bridge on the New Jersey side of the Scudder Falls Bridge.
The revised schedule is as follows:
- I-295 EB/SB (old I-95 north) approaching the Scudder Falls Bridge from the Taylorsville Road/Yardley-New Hope interchange (Exit 10, old exit 51) ls Bridge – Single-lane travel 6:30 p.m. to 10 a.m. (next day) Friday, Sept. 14, AND 6:30 p.m. to 11 a.m. (next day) Saturday, Sept. 15.
- I-295 NB/WB (old I-95 south) approaching the Scudder Falls Bridge on the New Jersey side – Single-lane travel 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. (next day) Friday, Sept. 14 AND 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. (next day) Saturday, Sept. 15
The aforementioned scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergency, traffic, and equipment/materials mobilization considerations. Motorists are urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations, and to reduce speeds and exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.
