LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA – Work associated with the installation of noise-abatement walls at warranted locations along the Pennsylvania I-95 approach to the Scudder Falls Bridge will continue into Saturday, April 8, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.
The project contractor will be caulking wall panels along I-95 southbound between Quarry Road and Newtown Road and backfilling behind a wall along I-95 southbound between the PennDOT Welcome Center and Dolington Road. The work is scheduled to be conducted between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Work on the advance Pennsylvania noise wall contract began in early July 2016. Under the contract, a total of six sections of noise walls with an approximate length of 12,500 feet are to be installed along Pennsylvania’s I-95 approach to the Scudder Falls Bridge. The work is on track to be completed in early June.
