A series of lane closures that were scheduled to begin Thursday night, March 13, at the I-78 Toll Bridge’s two-lane Express E-ZPass toll collection facility have been postponed.
The postponement is needed because of weather forecasts for thunderstorms, embedded heavy rains, and strong winds Sunday into Monday.
The foul weather would have interfered with and compromised the pouring and curing of new concrete roadway slabs at the location Sunday evening.
The work will be rescheduled for later next week. A new travel advisory will be issued prior to that work taking place.
